 Sweet 26!

Happy 26th Birthday to me. I know. Thank you Hidemi and tita for the cake!

This is a gift my mom put in my luggage back to Japan and she’s been doing it for 4 years I guess and everytime, I was behave and open it on the day or even after my birthday. Thank you mamita!

Hearts!

This is something I bought for myself. Nothing fancy for me this year.

Yas!! Yakiniku King

It’s been a hot minute since I went here. It might have been more than a year. But I’m so glad to be back!! :) I almost forgot how delicious the meat here is.

First Snow of 2018

 First Snow of 2018

Better late than not at all. This happened January, 22, 2018 and ot snowed a couple of more times since then but hey! I guess it snowed more this year than last year. I’m not a fan of snow but hey, it’s pretty to take pictures with so there’s that. Unlucky me though, it poured whilst I was outside and working. Wrong timing.

Harajuku
Harajuku Station
Snow!

I decided to go to Shibuya afterwards because I didn’t really have any other places to go to.

I went to Shibuhide (my fave ramen place) because it was so darn cold and I could use some ramen. For some reason, I only like the Shibuhide Ramen though. For some reason, I don’t like their other ramens all that much.

Sagamihara

I decided to walk around and take pictures around 11pm because my phone camera died when I reached Sagamihara so yeah.

The men/women who made this pathway should have an award.

Cookie and Cream

Cookie and Cream
HELLOs and GOODBYEs. So, my dog Shiki actually already left us and went to dog heaven. My heart. But for some reason, I’m not really that surprised. I guess I needed the closure. Like I always do. Mom be sending me pictures of our other dogs and all that and she haven’t send me any of Shiki’s so I sensed that there’s something wrong. I didn’t ask. She told me the news when we saw each other at the airport though. Anyways, we have two new amazing dogs. Leggo!

Cookie monster. Probably the silliest dog of the bunch.

He would fetch any ball and put it on her mouth. She even sleeps while holding the ball in her mouth. Man, I’m worried she’s gonna choke one day but she seems pretty good at this.

she’s adorable!
sleeping monster

How can someone be this cute?

ferocious monster

Also another addition to the family is Cream. Shiki’s replacement as the guard dog. We didn’t seem to get along at first but she eventually adjusted and would always jump and hug me! :) That’s all!

PRC License Renewal

PRC License Renewal
Now. Let’s see. Clearly, this is a sign. When I was in college, my professor already discussed about this CPD units and whatnot but since it was kind of irrelevant back then, I didn’t really pay attention. Not so long ago, Senator Trillianes initiated this law that a professional should gain a certain number of units to be able to renew their license. Man, I was like, fck it. Even if I can, I’m never gonna work in the Philippines again. Because that sht is bullsht.

cousins

We had a lot of problems paying for the renewal though. We went to two 7/11s and was declined because of technical stuff (human error) so we had to go to LBC to pay instead and that we queued an hour for. Kaloka. I was like, this is just the beginning!

But when we arrived at the PRC office, it was like, empty. I’ll tell you why it’s empty. The CPD thing. I can’t reiterate how against I am to that idea. There’s a change.org petition against this so maybe check that out. I did. I can clearly go on and on with this but Imma behave.

At the end of the day, I was able to renew my HARD EARNED AND WELL DESERVED license without hassle and yeah, that was fun. THIS IS CLEARLY A SIGN.

We ate Halo-Halo and some express overpriced rice meal which is okay but anyways. Halo-Halo is life though. That’s all!

Buffet 101 Sayonara!

February 10, 2018 0
Buffet 101 Sayonara!

So, my sayonara party this year was held in Buffet 101 because we've never been and I've been wanting to check this out for a very long time and voila!

I was a bit disappointed because I wanted baked tahong that time and it was nowhere to be found. But they have so many food there that I kind of forgot about the tahong for a while but yeah, baked tahong is life.

They had blue cheese there. I've never tried blue cheese until that time and then there I realized that it's not for me.

This chowder was good though!

Listen. These I would enjoy on some other days but I guess I was just not feeling it that time so I didn't really devoured on any of this that time. OMG LIKE, WHY?

Venice Grand Canal Mall

February 06, 2018 0
Venice Grand Canal Mall

Hype. You know, they say you have to do everything once to know if it’s for you. It was okay but I don’t think it’s for me. Okay that was a little bit harsh. True though. It was beautiful and all but yeah. I just guess it was kind of chaotic.

With my sister who skipped classes that day (always). Funny because when I was studying, I wouldn’t be able to do stuff like this.

It would have been nicer if it were less crowded. Char! So as you may have guessed already, it’s basically like the Venice Canal in Italy. You know they say that one day, it wouldn’t exist anymore, right? I guess that’s how they portrayed it in the Philippines. It’s so shallow. Also, malinaw ba ang canal sa Venice?

Sister’s OOTD.

Also, why do people like to put locks where it shouldn’t be? I wonder how many of these lock owners aren’t together anymore. Hahaha bitter.

So basically what we did is walk so we were really very hungry. We were supposed to have Korean but I was also like, CHICKEN. And then at the end, I was like, SEAFOOD, please. Soooo delicious. This was actually meant to be for 3-4 persons but we finished it all! Because food is life.

The night view was more beautiful. The gondola and all! We didn’t ride the gondola though because it was crowded. Also, I find it expensive because you only get to ride for a short time. And DISNEY SEA IS LIFE. I don’t think it’s somewhere I want to go to again. I would go if it were nearer but since it’s almost 600 pesos Uber ride away, I would only consider going when it’s on the way. That’s all! Ciao!
