Nihonjins!

My Japanese friends! Besides the money that my part-time job gave me, it gave me friends. Solid 5 friends that I won’t forget forever!

Baba club! We’re old. It’s nice to just casually eat with these two. Work as you know is always a lot of work but when we’re out, we have fun!

Friendship Day! 2018

Yasss I went. Alone. Why? I don’t know too. Friendship day and I wasn’t even feeling friendly. But I went anyways.

They have this dog training show. I actually wasn’t able to see much of it. But okay! It’s kinda cool.

It’s just good to know that when it comes to it, most of it, we have each other’s back. Feeling a little more friendly there. LOL.

So...I went to Yokota Air Base in Fussa. Kind of very late in the afternoon coz I was just after the fireworks. I should have went earlier though coz I kind of missed the bands.

Cool! Can I just say that back in the day, it’s dad’s wish for me to join the military/police force. I wonder how my life would have turned out if I really did.

I was actually supposed to work inside the base instead in Harajuku but I guess they had a problem with the final inspection so yeah. All good. Got a call from my manager in Harajuku literally after my interview here in Fussa. Told you guys about that already, I know.

They parked? all of the aircrafts in two lines which is kind of nice to look at. Not a big fan of it to be honest but I can imagine the people who like it, would enjoy!

I also missed the part where they flew this thing.

Gyu Tan! This is all I got to eat. I was actually in queue for the pizza but when I was about the 80th or probaby more in line, the crew and the manager came and they said that they wouldn’t guarantee that there would still be pizza when my turn comes so...nope. There were probably 20 more people behind my back too! Nothing special about their pizza. It’s just big!

To make things worst, I was in the bathroom when the show started! Nothing too special about the fireworks though! But yeah! Ciao!

Morning at Miurakaigan

Sweaty. So when I was in Yokosuka, on a fine summer day, I decided this would be the last beach I’d go for the season.

But first, breakfast. I don’t usually eat apple pie but that day is an apple pie kind of day. Also, it's a long walk from the station.

It was very calm when I went. I think I was there before 7 so not a lot of people still. There were people though, few people there.

I like the sound of the waves. Calms me down. But you know that already.

I actually didn't do much in here. Walked. Walked a lot in fact.

A little tiring. Carried my sandals for a while and walked barefoot. Coz who goes to these places in high heels, right? ME.

I’ve actually planned on going to this beach before. But last year I went to Zushi Beach instead of here which is kind of stupid because this Miura beach is number 1 on the list. Also, probably not a place for me to tan because just by looking at the size of it, it’s probably very popular with beach goers so you know, I’m not for one to just get naked in front of anyone.

Water is so cold. I liked it. What is this thing? How?

This place would be much better with friends of course. But walking around alone is good too. I wish my friends were with me though. Oh well.

Still not the prettiest beach I’ve seen in my life but compared to everything else I’ve seen here in Japan, it’s pretty. I miss the Philippines.

Also walked in the waters barefooted. Would have loved a little dip but I wasn’t prepared.

Fuji Q Highlands SUCCESS

So I told you what happened to our failed trip and lo and behold, the next time (being this time) was a success! Yas team! We actually have been here before, it’s just that we went with a car last time so all this commute thing is new. It was kind of a very long but okay trip.

Twists and Turns

Believe me. My kind of favorite ride. New favorite ride. I liked the King last time. Now this one.

No shame. I know I'm like almost half a year late but hey! I'm trying. Hahaha I'm so sorry I've been hella busy for the past 10 months. I'm trying to recover though so expect me back!

Matcha lookin' at?

I used to really really like Matcha. But now I’m just kind of okay with it. Still my favorite Starbucks drink though! I do think it’s a very comforting flavor. I think I’m more of a chocolate person now. Sometimes vanilla. Only creamy vanillas though.

This Fuji yama shaped taiyaki though! Very warm filling! Very yummy. I do suggest you try this! We got the chocolate and custard flavored ones. They were both yummy! Me likey,

One of the reasons why my sisters want to go here again is to actually enter the haunted hospital that we missed last time. If interested, here's a link to that. I'm actually not a fan of the whole haunted house thingy and stuff but hey! Why the hell not, right? Is it scary? Maybe. Will I enter again? Maybe. I don't know for sure. It's not that bad. Kind of defeats its purpose to be honest.
