Romantic Baboy! Yobab?

I don't know about your sisters but my sisters can eat the whole town down. Also, keeps saying things backwards. YOBAB. BABOY. AND SOOOOO many more it drives me crazy!

The one we went to was the branch in BANAWE. Saying so because my sister said me there's a new branch near our place so that's what's up.

IT WAS DELICIOUS!

THE JJAPCHAE WAS SO GOOD! Also, the cheese! I mean, it's most likely fake cheese but it was okay and sooo good with the meat so say no more! The soup was also good! Very tasty and oily.

Not all their mea was good though! There were some cuts that are not so tasty. But overall, it was good! I liked the ones with herbs!  We payed 499 pesos each and I guess we managed to eat more than that so that's always good.

My First Nephew

So I actually don't know if this is true but okay. Held quite some weeks ago but the picture just turned up now so sorry for the delay.

This is actually my cousin's baby. PRECIOUS! I wasn't gonna be a godmother of the baby originally but I AM NOW so all good!

WE WERE LATE!! Like, the mother specifically told us all not to be late because they'll be closing the hall at a certain time but my uncle, my cousin's father, who was supposed to pick us up at 8-ish came almost an hour late so yeah. LATE. When we came to the venue, the hall was closed but my uncle forced it open and we kind of made a little scenario and they were all kind of shookt but there's that.

MIKA, MIKIE, TITA, PING, AND RENZ
MY FAVORITE LOLO IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD
LECHON!

The food and everything was nice! I'm just so happy that my cousin is now a father and it all happened kind of fast or maybe I'm just living in a very slow world but I'm really happy for the new life he has given. Bless him and his family!

The one thing I am not very happy about are the pictures. I mean, they are paid for so I don't think it's necessary to put watermarks! Am I over-reacting? Coz I feel like I am but that doesn't mean I'd change my point of view. I removed it by the way. That's all!

REIWA, A Start of a New Generation.

Millenials, Generation X, Generation Z, or whatever generation it is. It also happens in Japan. If you don't know, we have actually a lot of eras in Japan. Five of the latest eras are Meiji, Taishō, Shōwa, Heisei, and Reiwa. I was born in Heisei era which is the era as of this writing because the new era would take effect on May, 1, 2019. It's nice, you know. Witnessing a new era unfold. I mean, it's not like I'm just gonna watch them live in the era or something. I will be part of it of course! I'm just so proud that I get to live in another one, you know what I mean? It has been a long discussion at work when will this changing of names will happen. Even joked that it would be named after one of my co-workers. And it's happening now! UGH!!! I can't say that I'm too old to be witnessing this but yeah I kind of am. I can't wait to make memories in the new era. That sounds dramatic, yeah? This is a short post but I'm just so proud of the Japanese people. Everyone was like watching the news and everything. the teenagers showing as much enthusiasm than the elders. Everyone was so happy about it. It was actually dad who alerted me and my sister Mari and we all watched the news together. It was iconic man. Witnessed it as it happened. Will show you some of the memories I've made during the HEISEI era. AKA ALL OF MY MEMORIES THUS FAR. Anyways, these are my pictures before this blog.

GRADUATION

I don't have super relevant pictures to share so yeah! I don't know how I enthusiastically blogged all of these before. I don't even remember half of it happening. Thanks blog for reminding me what happened to my life thus far! Really serves its purpose, I tell you! That's all! Thank you so much, HEISEI! REIWA, please be good to me! I need all of the orders and harmony you can offer! So...ciao!

Hong Kong Day 5 | Adios Hong Kong!

Day 5 is kind of uneventful because we all have luggages to carry and roaming around with it wouldn't be as fun you know. So I suggest you put your things on a big backpack when travelling because that's like more doable.

The airport food. Not so good but okay. Also not that good is the picture below. Airport food man. Very wrong. It should be the best because it’s the first food people might have but can also be the last. Get it? So yeah.

Final thoughts. I mean, it’s not for me. I know a lot of people who swear they like Hong Kong. NOT ME. Don't take it personally guys. I don't like that many people so...I don’t know if it’s just me but the people I’ve encountered there so far are MEAN. I don’t even want to talk about it now. I will tell you some other time maybe. There are lots of nice people too but you know, the vibe is not so good. I will definitely be back here but not for the people. A little bit for food. But mostly just for Disneyland. That’s all! Also, should probably check out MACAU. Because BOYS OVER FLOWERS.

Hong Kong 4.2 | Causeway Bay

After our Ocean Park adventures. I decided I wanted to see more so I went! My sisters went to an adventure of their own so yeah.

I only spent around 3 hours in here and I really enjoyed it! If there is anything I picked out from this solo trip is that I should have rode the TRAM. Can't do it all, man. Can't.

I liked the place. Looks a lot more like what I am accustomed to. But then again they all look the same afterwards. I guess that's what my experience was lacking. The uniqueness.

YUMS. I had two versions of this. Actually three including the Disney one but I must say that I liked the crispy version better. This one is more like cake type. AND KIND OF DRY to be honest.

MORE YUMS

Delicious!

Not for the faint of heart. Like, 5 types of beef internal organs. I like it. The woman was giving me the "are you sure? face" when I bought this but I genuinely enjoyed this so like, whatevs.

Found out that their souvenirs are a little bit more expensive than Mongkok so don't be fooled by their cheap aura. I mean one thing I learned in life in general is that there would always be a place that sells things cheaper. NEVER ENDING journey.

That's all! I also should have checked TIME SQUARE! Whatever it is that's inside would have to wait until my next trip! That's all!

Hong Kong Day 4 | Ocean Deep

I’m afraid to show my feelings. I have definitely sailed a million ceilings. Anyways, Ocean Park. A very lovely place to be. It’s a fusion of old and new. And I like it.

They have your roller coasters. Then your aquariums! I guess it can be a lot better though. I feel like it’s a little bit all over the place. But it’s nice.

This. My sister Mari swears it’s the scariest ride there. And it is! So windy and shaky. But beautiful and fun at the same time. You actually have to ride either this one or the shuttle to reach the more extreme rides.

My favorite ride is The Flash. It’s just nice! Can I just say that it was our first big ride there and we didn’t even know how it works prior. Then the Hair Raiser ride was just okay. Actually everything else was just okay. The drop was good because of the view.

The Dolphin Show was not that entertaining. I mean, it was nice but just okay. I’ve seen better shows in Japan. It’s very slow phased.

WHATEVER THIS IS, WE LOOK SO BUSY

Pretty but was kind of crowded! And my tita self just couldn't handle scattered noise of small children I couldn't understand.

Food! It was okay. Dry but tasty. We should have tasted the authentic curry at the basement of the Chungking Mansion just to know the difference.

The line to the ride back to the ground was soo long!! I can’t even. We weren’t able to visit some attractions because again, closing time is always early. I would have loved to visit the Australian stuff there you know. That’s all? Yeah! :)
