Manila Ocean Park. Revisited!

I mentioned here that I will be revisiting Manila Ocean Park! Not with my family but my cousin (still family) LOL. So I've decided to kind of have an overview, and then kind of have a different post for the fishes and jellies.

Okay let's go na.

So I totally didn't notice this before. Or maybe it is because it was so crowded before. Since it's a Wednesday when we went, there weren't too much people around. Just perfect.

We first visited the Marine Habitat which is like, a pool and a back stage where they feed the mammal, I suppose? And probably where they train them as well.

The pool is not that big either so I kind of feel bad for the sea lions. Because you know, if you come to think about it, the sea lions shouldn't feel as if they're far from home so I was thinking that they shouldn't be placed in such a small place. And then we also watched the Sea Lion Show.

I was kind of surprised because they kind of have the same place for all their shows. So we were like, looking for the show's place because before the Sea Lion Show, they were showing the bird show and so I though that there would be a place for everything but yeah. Share share din.

It was actually fun. I enjoyed it. I kind of want to comment though that it was too hot when we went and I think that the place should be covered or something because we can't really go near because the heat of the sun was like, we can't even.

The place was dark and as far as I'm concern, we're not supposed to do take pictures with flash but the camera that we used there didn't really have flash but it has some sort of light of its own so yeah. I hope we didn't offend any of the jellyfishes. The place was beautiful. It was a quiet place and the music was nice. Although I probably would recommend a playlist or some genius stuff from iTunes because they only play one song from Yiruma I believe. So there's that.

And then to the Oceanarium. It was actually the only place we visited before in my A Look Back post so yeah it's the only place I revisited. Haha great. They actually have several sections inside. Like, there's a section for lake water fishes, and other creatures.

Amsorry for the flash. I was surprised by the flash as well. Haha that face.

I mentioned in my previous post that I will have a separate post for them fishes and jellies. ( I used to have it in a different post but less is more!)

So there's that.

The last picture looks icky but it doesn't matter.

I would say the last frame's Jellies my favourite jellies. With their polka dots and all that.

I think that's basically the same spot. Just different cameras used.

Can we just stop for a while and smile for this adorable creature? :) There you go. It was a little bit creepy to be honest.

I think the place was interesting although I also think that their aquariums are too small.

The middle frame's fish is just creepy.

Sharks!  Much scarier in films.

Or maybe they're not yet fully grown. Or malnourished.. That's all!

I enjoyed the show. My cousin was like, we look like a little kid enjoying the show. But you know, even though we're both 21, we're both kids at heart. We will always be! :)

And then one more picture before we go out of the building? That's all! Good vibes! :) I think the lights were cute.

USTv IX and more!

So I actually decided to pick up my graduation pictures at Red Images because you know! I actually am supposed to pick that up last week but because of thesis stuff, you know! So since our thesis is done and all that, there's no reason for delaying it na. Anyways, after picking up my graduation pictures, we headed straight to UST to check out what's happening or whatnot. And since there's still not much people and there's like, no happenings yet, my cousin and I decided to get ourselves a drink.

Cousin had the D'Cream Special while I had the Golden Sun. Just a quick review though. Golden Sun in my opinion is like, pure cream. It's really really sweet and creamy or maybe they kind of made a mistake there I wouldn't know of course because it was my first time ordering that. D'Cream Special is like, awesome (kind of) but it's still too sweet. I couldn't blame them of course because it's in the name.

After we bought drinks, we bought this. I was really curious about this stuff because everyone's like getting this and would eat this on the way so I was like, hey, it's time! Haha

It was good! Like, on the go food which is very smart of them because you know, university students don't have much time to queue for McDonald's or KFC with their 1 hour break so yeah. Awesome awesome. Can't wait to try their other stuff.

Love the lights. :))

The flowers from this tree is actually falling down and it looks so pretty on the ground.

Capture the moment, they said.

There were more artists who came but I wasn't able to take pictures of them, sorry. Anyways. It was overall fun. I guess it was only my second time watching the ceremony but yeah, I did enjoy it. Of course we didn't go home straight after that. We kind of took pictures pa. Some of them I will share soon! :) That's all.

The U.P. Experience.

Good news guys! Thesis done! :)) Happy kid! Okay so I promise myself not to blog about this until we've submitted all our requirements so I'm free to do so now.

We held our thesis experiment proper at the University of the Philippines, Manila mainly because University of Santo Tomas doesn't rear mosquitoes that we can use for the experiment. Our Thesis Adviser recommended us there and so yeah.

Me and le friend/thesis mate.

We made use of the Parasitology laboratory which is like, cool. It's not the usual air-conditioned UST type of laboratory and it's like very vintage looking so I like it. After our Thesis Oral Defense, le friend and I were talking about how we encompassed everything and we were talking about how we liked the U.P. experience and stuff and we were also thankful on how nice our U.P. mentors were during our stay there.

THESIS IT!
